We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Llanelli.
Your role will be vital in helping pupils with ASD feel confident, included, and inspired every single day.
Start: After October Half Term
Pay: £89.38- £92
Location: Llanelli, Carmarthenshire

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children with ASD in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
* Helping deliver tailored learning plans that meet each child’s needs.
* Encouraging communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
* Working closely with teachers, ALN staff, and families to make sure every learner has the best possible experience at school.
You’ll be someone who celebrates small victories — because those are often the biggest ones of all.

Who We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with ASD or additional learning needs — this is essential.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
- The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare would be a bonus but not required.
