Hours: 36 per week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00)
Pay Rates: PAYE: £266.16/day Umbrella/Ltd: £350.00/day

Role Overview
️ The Royal Borough of Kingston is seeking an experienced and versatile Housing Stock Condition Surveyor to support a strategic project focused on the effective management and maintenance of its housing and garage stock. This role plays a key part in delivering the Council’s vision of being one of the best places to live and work in the UK.
You’ll conduct a wide range of stock condition surveys across dwellings, communal areas, garages, and void properties, contributing to both planned and responsive maintenance programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct stock condition surveys across HRA dwellings, communal areas, garages, and voids
* Diagnose and recommend remedial works for damp and mould issues
* Deliver Aids and Adaptations works and Health & Safety Estate Inspections
* Provide accurate, systematic assessments to support repairs and maintenance planning
* Contribute to the Council’s strategic priorities through high-quality surveying and reporting
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in housing stock condition surveying
* Strong diagnostic skills, particularly around damp and mould issues
* Ability to work across varied property types and environments
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Flexible, proactive, and committed to public service standards
