Job Description
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school in the NP19 area to recruit a Teaching Assistant starting in February 2026.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary school setting. The school is happy to consider candidates with a range of experience levels, including those looking to take their first step into education.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis
Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

A positive, patient, and reliable attitude
A genuine interest in working with primary-aged children
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a school or child-focused setting is desirable but not essential
