Job Description
3. Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees within the company.
4. Process new starters, leavers and adjustments - SMP, SPP, SAP, SSP
5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, pension schemes, and other statutory requirements.
6. Handle payroll queries from employees and provide resolutions promptly.
7. Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
8. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to reconcile payroll accounts monthly.
9. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as needed.
10. Support audits by providing payroll-related documentation and information.
11. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
12. Experience in processing payroll within a professional setting.
13. Knowledge of payroll software and relevant systems.
14. A strong understanding of UK payroll regulations.
