About the Role:
We are working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the Buttershaw area of Bradford, known for its strong community spirit and commitment to educational progress. This is a full-time, temporary role starting ASAP until the end of the summer term, ideal for an experienced English Teacher or a confident ECT ready to make a lasting impact. Location: Bradford (Buttershaw Area)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Until the End of the Summer Term)
Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Strong subject knowledge and curriculum awareness
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

* Familiarity with current GCSE English specifications
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11)
* Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature
* Mark and assess work, providing constructive feedback
* Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Differentiate lessons to support varied learning needs
* Establish and maintain a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff
* Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
* Encourage student participation in discussions and debates
