Cast UK are working in partnership with a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation experiencing sustained growth, where logistics and warehousing play a critical role in delivering high levels of customer service.
This is a collaborative, coordination-focused role, working closely with an outsourced third-party logistics (3PL) provider. You will act as a key link between internal teams and the 3PL, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong stock control, and continuous improvement across the warehouse function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the day-to-day coordination of warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and despatch
2. Act as the primary point of contact for the 3PL provider, ensuring clear communication and alignment
3. Maintain accurate stock records, support cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies
4. Monitor warehouse and logistics KPIs, supporting performance reviews and improvements
5. Assist in resolving operational issues such as stock variances, damages, and delivery delays
6. Produce regular reports on stock levels, performance, and operational activity
7. Support health & safety compliance within the warehouse environment
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service levels
About You
9. Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain coordination role
10. Previous experience working with a third-party logistics (3PL) provider is highly desirable
11. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles
12. Experience using WMS or ERP systems
13. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
14. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
15. Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
