Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced and passionate Children and Families Social Workers who are seeking their next locum opportunity. Our client in St Helens is looking for a skilled professional to join their Family Help and Protection Team, where your work will play a vital role in shaping the futures of vulnerable children and families.
What will your responsibilities be?
You'll join a supportive team of six social workers, led by an Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager, who are committed to reflective supervision and manageable caseloads. This role covers the full spectrum of statutory social work, including:
* Children in Need (CIN)
* Child Protection (CP)
* Pre-Proceedings (PLO)
* Care Proceedings through to Final Hearing

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
* Proven experience in statutory children's services, especially within court proceedings
* Confidence in managing complex cases and working within legal frameworks
* Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
