Person specification
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience.
Essential criteria Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent Evidence of a health related qualification e.g NVQ level 3, care certificate or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in a senior healthcare support worker role. Substantial support worker experience at band 3 or above Experience of venepuncture Experience of working independently and ability to manage own work load Experience of working in the community or outreach setting. Basic knowledge of HIV
Desirable criteria Knowledge and understanding of HIV and treatment. Foundation degree in Health and Social Care or relevant clinical experience Evidence of CPD in the form of personal development portfolio Experience of working with people living with HIV. Experience in providing level 1 psychology care.
