Pulse is now recruiting for a Physiotherapist to join the mental health team at an innovative private trust based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible working part time hours per week for an a 3-to-6-month period.
As a Mental Health Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized physiotherapy services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions that enhance the mental and physical well-being of our clients. The caseload would be approximately 12 patients with mental health needs and a range of physical healthcare needs including mobility. The trust have no specific requirements for bandings/years of experience for this role.
Duties within this role may include:
1. Provide physiotherapy treatment to patients who have mental health conditions
2. Working within a multidisciplinary team
3. Help to manage mobility
4. Managing own caseload efficiently
5. Being legally and professionally responsible for own work
Skills and experience needed:
6. HCPC registration
7. Previous experience in a similar role
8. Experience working with mental health
9. Relevant degree/qualifications
