Role context and purpose:
The role of the Cyber Security Sales Account Director is to achieve sales targets, by maximising business from new clients / contacts. Promoting the company effectively in order to enhance the company’s’ reputation for integrity and professionalism. Ability to discuss the company's Professional & Managed Services with Medium and Large Cyber security prospects. Working in conjunction with company resources (Marketing, Pre and post sales, and Senior Management) and with multiple Partners to stimulate demand, build pipeline and acquire new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing new client engagement plans, using targeted material to generate demand.
* Understanding client requirements / decision making to accelerate new client closure rates.
* Successfully contracting new clients for Red Helix.
* Good understanding of product configurations, options and price list structure/policy.
* Comprehensively update monthly forecast for pipeline, business and resource planning.
* Update CRM on a regular basis for contacts, quotes and pipeline management.
* Contracting clients using appropriate legal and finance support.
* Monitor press / relevant websites / marketing briefs / news feeds & using information for client engagement.
* Provide market, competitive and commercial feedback to relevant Red Helix internal teams.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Hybrid working across Red Helix, client and other appropriate site(s)
* Champion Red Helix on social media.
Skills and Experience
* Highly consultative New Business skills.
* Maintaining an effective sales process; using any appropriate sales techniques / methodologies.
* Ability to convey business value using high level technical conversations.
* Solid Technology understanding with keen interest in Cyber Security
* Effective communication skills (listening, written, verbal and presented).
* Business case skills / Understanding of Vertical markets, and competitive understanding.
* Questioning, negotiation and closing skills.
* Forecasting skills, including accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
* Travel expected 75% away from work location.
* 5 Year + of proven new client success or other relevant experience.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
* Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and services.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritising and driving results.
