The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to make it easy for men to dress well, and we rely on our specialist teams to achieve this. We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our new team at our upcoming store in Gunwharf Quays Outlet, Portsmouth, opening later this year.
Responsibilities
1. Influence and exceed sales targets, maximize KPIs, and ensure excellent customer service.
2. Lead and collaborate with the sales team to identify and surpass sales opportunities.
3. Build lasting customer relationships and manage customer appointments, including corporate clients and wedding parties.
4. Train staff on service and selling standards, utilizing store tools and training resources.
5. Foster a positive store culture, ensuring a professional and enjoyable environment for staff and customers.
6. Support the Store Manager in reporting, data analysis, stock management, cost control, recruitment, HR, and compliance.
Qualifications
* Previous retail management experience
* Proven leadership and motivational skills
* Strong coaching, analytical, and relationship-building skills
* Experience in stock management and loss prevention
* Knowledge of systems and Microsoft Office
