What Youll Be Doing Development
Lead the build of web applications using Symfony, Vue.js, Craft CMS, and MySQL
Take projects from initial idea through to delivery
Support and guide junior developers, sharing your experience and knowledge
Work closely with stakeholders to develop new features and improvements
Carry out code reviews and keep quality high across the board
Modernise older systems and improve the tech stack as you go
Troubleshoot issues quickly to keep things running smoothly
Use tools like Webpack, Composer, and NPM to streamline your workflow
Keep everything well documented for easy collaboration
General Responsibilities
Follow internal policies and help maintain a safe, compliant workplace
Take part in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training
Jump in to support other business needs where needed
What Were Looking For Must-Haves
Solid full-stack development experience, especially with Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks) and Vue.js (or similar JavaScript libraries)
Confident with HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Familiar with Git and version control best practices
Comfortable integrating APIs and using tools like Composer and NPM
Experience working with (and improving) legacy codebases
Strong problem-solving and performance optimisation skills
Experience leading projects and mentoring developers
Good communicator and a team player
Strong attention to detail with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code
A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and improve
A commitment to creating an inclusive, diverse workplace
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools/practices
Familiarity with automated testing
Background in the property, home-moving, or conveyancing space
