CNC Turner - Weekend & Night Shift Opportunities

Shift Options:
* Weekend Shift: Saturday to Monday
* Night Shift: Monday to Thursday
Contract Length: 6 or 12 Months (both options available)
Overview
We are seeking experienced CNC Turners to join a high-performing engineering team, with opportunities available on both weekend and night shifts. Successful candidates will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC machinery, delivering high-quality, precision-engineered components. This role requires strong Mazatrol programming experience and the ability to work independently on advanced turning centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate Mazak Quick Turn (QT250), Mazak Integrex, or Mazak QT Primos 150 machines (depending on shift requirements).
* Work from engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.
* Carry out machine setup, tooling adjustments, and offsets to maintain machining accuracy.
* Conduct quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools to ensure components meet tolerances.
* Troubleshoot machining issues, optimising processes for efficiency and precision.
* Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health & safety procedures.
* Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to support continuous improvement activities.
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven hands-on experience with Mazak Quick Turn, Mazak Integrex, Mazak QT Primos 150, or Mazak QT250 machines.
* Strong CNC turning knowledge and proficiency in Mazatrol programming.
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
* Flexibility to work exclusively on weekend or night shift patterns.
