The School of Skills for Life are looking for an exceptional Hourly Paid Lecturer to join their team. This is a key post which requires an understanding of Special Educational Needs.
You will be based at our well-equipped New Bedford Road Campus in Luton.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality provision and personalised learning for learners, encouraging them to enhance their skills and achieve their full potential as set out in their Educational, Health and Care Plans.
* Create and develop a range of learning opportunities to meet the needs of students and the relevant awarding bodies from pre-entry to level 1.
* Understand complex learner needs and remove barriers to learning; apply knowledge of SEND reforms and the Code of Practice and how they impact FE courses.
* Plan and deliver sessions that meet the needs of young people in the department; maintain flexible and organised approach.
* Maintain accurate records using College systems with good attention to detail.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience within the SEND area is advantageous, but teaching ability and adaptability are valued.
* Willingness to work as part of a specialist team and contribute to high-quality provision and personalised learning.
