Job Description
The School of Creative Industries is running a 15-week Film & Screen Saturday Club for local school and college students. We are recruiting a lead tutor to deliver these interactive sessions, contribute to the administration, and support the Saturday Club in collaboration with faculty colleagues. Responsibilities include organizing session facilities, materials, travel, events, venues, logistics, monitoring engagement and attendance, and conducting impact evaluation.
The role requires delivering interactive, practical film production sessions, with experience working with young people in informal educational settings. The final stages of the club involve presenting the outputs at a final show in London.
The Club is hosted within the University’s Screen School. The successful candidate is expected to be present on campus approximately one day per week for administrative and preparatory work, in addition to scheduled Saturday sessions.
Compliance with university procedures and safeguarding policies is required. A DBS check will be necessary.
