In conjunction with Senior Digital Services colleagues, support the local implementation and monitoring of the Health Board Data Quality Strategy and improvement plans ensuring the highest quality data is available to support the delivery of healthcare. To actively participate in ensuring that Data Quality performance targets are achieved for key processes through the implementation of the Data Quality Framework.

As a member of the Team the post holder will assist in the devising and updating of comprehensive training material and support documentation for business critical clinical systems and standard desktop software applications, as directed by the Senior Members of the team.

As part of the role, the post holder will deliver informal and formal training of business critical clinical systems and standard desktop software applications to all levels of staff across the organization in line with the standard operating procedure for training.

To frequently deal with complex compliance issues and cases on an individual basis to ensure patient flow whilst maintaining the quality of the patient data.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the IT Training & Support Team the post holder will deliver formal and informal training of business critical clinical systems and standard desktop software applications to all levels of staff across the organisation.

They will assist in the creating and updating of training material and support documentation, as directed by the IT Training & Support Manager. The post holder will provide user support and administration across all systems and applications supported by Digital Services.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential criteria

1. Educated to Diploma level in a computing subject or equivalent experience.
2. Evidence of further development and or education and training.

Desirable criteria

3. Microsoft Office Applications.

4. Good Knowledge of Patient Administration Systems.
5. A good general understanding of clinical and non-clinical digital processes.
6. Good knowledge of data standards and definitions within a healthcare environment.

7. Experience working within the NHS environment.

16. Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh.
