An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individual who are interested in developing their Critical Care skills.
The purpose built Critical Care Unit in Glangwili General Hospital is looking for Band 5 Registered Nurses.
The vacancy is part time hours (23 hours) with day and night rotation.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions.
The successful candidates will ideally demonstrate some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing, but this is not essential and have a willingness to develop their skills further, playing an integral part in integrating critical care across Glangwili.
The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
