About the Role
We're seeking a detaildriven Finance Assistant with strong SAGE experience to support a busy finance team during a peak period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working in a fastpaced environment and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthend processes, and ensuring smooth daytoday financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments accurately using SAGE
2. Reconciling bank statements and investigating discrepancies
3. Assisting with credit control and managing aged debt
4. Supporting monthend journals and accruals
5. Maintaining financial records and ensuring data accuracy
6. Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required
What We're Looking For
7. Proven experience using SAGE (essential)
8. Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
10. Good understanding of basic accounting processes
11. Confident working independently and within a team
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills
