Responsibilities
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, assisting them with academic tasks, social skills development, and personal care needs.
2. Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised education plans and interventions tailored to the individual needs of students.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported in reaching their full potential.
4. Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and sensory needs, promoting meaningful engagement and participation.
5. Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes, providing regular feedback, assessments, and reports to track individual achievements and areas for growth.
Requirements
6. Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN is preferred.
7. Understanding of different types of SEN and strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
8. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEN.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
