Senior Estates Surveyor £418 per day Inside IR35 3 Months initially London Hybrid Interviews taking place ASAP You will be responsible for a varied portfolio – including commercial premises, strategic land holdings, and development sites – ensuring strong financial returns and alignment with the Council’s Asset and Development Management strategies. About the Senior Estates Surveyor role: This role also offers the opportunity to deputise for senior colleagues, contribute at a strategic level, and shape long-term decisions affecting key property assets. Manage a designated asset portfolio, overseeing leases, rent reviews, renewals, licenses, and terminations to maximise financial returns and occupancy. Lead on negotiations with owners, statutory bodies, and legal advisors. Handle disposals, acquisitions, compensation claims, and undertake valuations (e.g. Right to Buy, equity share, internal transfers). Oversee cases involving easements, wayleaves, rating issues, and unauthorised land use. Support marketing and letting of vacant properties, ensuring high-quality documentation and tenant selection. Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, financial and contract procedures, and the Council’s codes of practice.
