Key Account Manager, West Coast
The role of a Key Account Manager is to continually and consistently increase our customer base by collaborating with customers and prospects to address their unique optical challenges. You will strategically oversee customer communications to ensure long-term customer partnerships and build upon Optikos’ reputation as the Optical Engineering Experts.
What You Will Bring To The Team
* Effective listening skills, especially useful in negotiating, influencing, and selling to all organizational levels.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers crucial for converting Opportunities into Orders.
* Experience in driving sales of high-performance optically based product design and development services, ideally leading to volume assembly capabilities, and measuring lenses, cameras, and sensors to support customer market advantages.
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with extensive experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Ability to manage, maintain, and track data in the company’s CRM system.
* Organize customer development trips, attend tradeshows, conferences, and visits.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Photonics-related fields (Engineering, Applied Science, Physics) preferred.
* Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated sales growth success in a customer-facing role.
* Manage and track account information, leads, project activities, opportunities, and sales pipeline in the CRM system in a timely manner.
* Organize customer trips, attend tradeshows and conferences, with 30–50% travel required.
* Northwestern residence preferred.
