Due to their expanding portfolio and business growth, they are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical design support across a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, light industrial, and heritage/conservation works. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring accurate reports and designs, contributing to the team's continuous development and commitment to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead your own projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
* Work collaboratively with the engineering department to uphold best practices and improve design services.
* Provide technical expertise in the design of structures using Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials.
* Ensure compliance with British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant design guidance.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a UK-based design consultancy.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong analytical, communication, and technical design skills.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
Excellent salary and remuneration package (negotiable upon experience).
