Job Role :Contracts Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible to meet the needs of thebusiness)
Salary : £37,500 per annum + Car Allowance/Company Car
Position Location :Field-based, covering the North West area
Reporting to :Key Accounts Director
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anchor GroupServices as a Contracts Manager, overseeing a prestigious security and cleaningcontract along with several other contracts across the North West region. Thisis a fantastic chance to join a growing organisation during a period of rapidexpansion, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellenceand client satisfaction.
You will be responsible for leading and managing a SoftServices Manager and frontline staff, ensuring excellent service delivery andmaintaining strong client relationships. Reporting to the Key Accounts Director,you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of these busy retail andcorporate environments, ensuring compliance, high standards, and exceptionalcustomer service. Flexibility to travel across the north west region isessential.
Main Responsibilities :
* Oversee and manage securityand cleaning operations across multiple public facing (including shoppingcentres) and corporate sites.
* Ensure all services aredelivered within budget constraints for staffing, materials, uniforms, andconsumables.
* Provide leadership andsupport to a Soft Services Manager, ensuring effective staff management,welfare checks, and ongoing training.
* Implement and maintain highstandards of compliance, health & safety, and operational procedures acrossall locations.
* Conduct regular site visitsand audits, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with clientexpectations.
* Lead recruitment, disciplinary procedures, andperformance management, with guidance and support from HR
* Foster strong relationshipswith clients, acting as the main point of contact for operational issues andcontract performance.
* Monitor and report on KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure sites meet agreed Service LevelAgreements (SLAs).
* Oversee rostering, holidayplanning, and sickness absence for site-based teams to always maintaineffective cover.
* Oversee stock levels ofcleaning consumables and ensure efficient procurement processes.
* Ensure the proper operationof Control Rooms, CCTV systems, and site security procedures in compliance withGDPR and licensing regulations.
Requirements
* Experience of managinglarge, multi-site teams within the security and/or cleaning sectors.
* Strong leadership andpeople management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Excellent communication andpresentation skills, with experience engaging with clients and seniormanagement.
* Ability to manage changequickly and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
* Strong problem-solvingskills with the ability to analyse and resolve operational challenges.
* Knowledge of compliance,health & safety regulations, and employment law related to soft servicesmanagement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and workforce management systems(Timegate, Zoho, Partner System).
* Experience in recruitment,disciplinary processes, and risk assessment management.
* A flexible and adaptableapproach to work, with a strong sense of teamwork
