Marketing Manager
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 PA plus bonus
My client, a well-established and leading Yorkshire retailer, is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to work out of their new Rotherham location.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and improve customer engagement across stores, websites, third-party marketplaces like Amazon and eBay, and B2B customers. The role involves working closely with senior management, buying and sales teams, and brand partners such as Samsung and Bosch to ensure a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns to promote products, promotions, and events both online and offline.
2. Manage the store's digital presence, including website content, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising.
3. Collaborate with store management to increase foot traffic and sales through in-store promotions and events.
4. Analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing efforts.
5. Work with external agencies and brand partners to execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
6. Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights for decision-making.
7. Maintain brand consistency and adhere to brand guidelines across all channels and touchpoints.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in omnichannel marketing, recommending improvements.
9. Coordinate with sales and customer service departments to ensure messaging consistency and excellent customer experience.
10. Manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI on all activities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven experience in omnichannel marketing, preferably within retail.
3. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.
4. Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and trends for actionable insights.
5. Creative thinker capable of developing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
6. Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
8. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.
9. Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.
