We re looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. We are looking for: Experience of working in a school kitchen or similar Experience of food preparation Ability to communicate effectively with staff and pupils Ability to work as part of a team Excellent organisational skills Main Duties: To assist with the preparation of food. To assist with serving meals and maintaining general kitchen duties. To assist with the daily preparation of the dining room and counter. To undertake cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas, including the washing of kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. To store goods delivered. To undertake such other duties related to the work of the department, appropriate to the post, as may be assigned. The post-holder will have opportunity to assist with the preparation of food for special functions, such as school fairs and graduation parties as well as numerous themed days throughout the year.
