Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager at The Cedar Grange in Wolverhampton. The Deputy Manager will support the management team in the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing staff performance, maintaining personalized care plans, supporting the team in delivering outstanding dementia and nursing care, and ensuring residents' safety and well-being. The role also involves fostering a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff, meeting operational goals, and liaising with families regarding care plans and overall satisfaction.

* Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of residential care, dementia care, and related best practices
* Experience in developing and implementing personalized care plans
* Understanding and adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with staff, residents, and families
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to ensuring high-quality care services
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care; Level 3 or higher diploma preferred
* Prior experience in a leadership role within a residential care/nursing setting
* Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends or evenings as needed
