Your role: As a Streetscene Apprentice (Golf Greenkeeper), you will provide a full and comprehensive green keeping support to the golf maintenance team. This will involve on the job training, working with experienced green keepers and using a range of equipment and machinery safely and competently to maintain a good quality playing surface. You will also learn and use recognised techniques that promote and help to maintain a quality grass sward. You will be required to regularly attend college to attain a Level 2 Golf Greenkeeping qualification and will gain a range of experience whilst learning from professionals within the organisation. About you: Must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade E/2 or above including Maths and English or equivalent The ability to work accurately and follow instructions To be enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent service The ability to use own initiative and work flexibly as part of a team To be keen to develop a wide range of skills required to work within a busy service The ability to complete the Level 2 Golf Greenkeeping apprenticeship qualification within the required apprenticeship timeframe.
