Key Responsibilities Patient Access & Appointment Triage Support patients in accessing care via the online triage system, including assisting those unable to complete forms independently Review and appropriately route triage requests in line with practice protocols Handle patient enquiries courteously and efficiently, providing accurate information Manage requests for appointments, telephone consultations, and home visits Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Reception & Administration Open and close the practice premises, following security and safety procedures Process incoming and outgoing mail (physical and electronic) File, scan, and retrieve documents accurately Process repeat prescription requests in line with practice guidelines Provide general administrative support to clinicians and the wider team Maintain clean and tidy shared areas and provide refreshments when required Health, Safety & Confidentiality Adhere to health & safety and infection control policies Identify and report risks or concerns promptly Handle all patient and practice information in strict confidence Teamwork, Quality & Development Work collaboratively with colleagues and external healthcare organisations Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and patient experience Participate in training, appraisals, and ongoing professional development Support equality, diversity, and inclusion by providing a welcoming environment for all
