Main duties
1. To support the Compliance Manager in managing the Soft (Cleaning) service delivery throughout their geographical area in line with contract obligations and service standards.
2. To manage the cleaning teams and ensure appropriate levels of resources are deployed with succession and development plans in place.
3. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all statutory requirements and corporate policies including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environment & Sustainability and Employment Legislation.
4. To embed a zero accidents culture of Health and Safety within the contract
5. Ensure that the budget is adhered to, and all levels of expenditure are within the set contract targets.
6. To drive performance levels across the region with implementation of Business Improvement Plans to ensure continuous improvement, best practice and innovations are at the heart of our model.
7. To ensure Mitie staff are fully motivated in their work, visibly live the corporate values and exhibit the behaviours that enhance their work experience and the experience of the customers they serve.
8. Auditing site logbooks and rectifying issues found, reviewing cleaning standards and improving where required.
Person Specification
Essential
9. Substantial and proven experience in multi-site soft services TFM contracts
10. Experience in management of Soft (Cleaning) service delivery across a diverse multi-site portfolio.
11. Excellent people communication skills: ability to manage and develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
12. Experience in managing change projects within FM environments.
13. IT literate in CAFM Information Management Systems.
14. Experience in successfully working in a pressured and stressful environment.
15. Good working knowledge of H&S related to TFM services.
16. Relevant industry experience.
17. Pass Vetting Clearance with no concerns.
18. Full UK Driving licence.
Desirable
19. Qualified to ONC/HNC level or equivalent in facilities management, business support services, cleaning, security, catering or other suitable discipline.
