The Role:
We're looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong application development experience and a solid interest or background in AI. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable applications while contributing to AI-driven features and solutions. You'll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to turn ideas into reliable, production-ready systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications
* Build and integrate backend services, APIs, and microservices
* Develop and deploy AI/ML-powered features and workflows
* Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models into production systems
* Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Skills & Experience:
* Strong proficiency in Python
* Proven experience in application development (web, backend, or enterprise applications)
* Experience working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration
* Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar)
* Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
* Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git)
* Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models into production (preferred)
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience with data pipelines, model monitoring, or MLOps practices
* Frontend exposure (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
