Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shepherd’s Bush seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a variety of learning needs.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, long-term role suitable for a candidate who has experience or a strong interest in working with children with special educational needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* ADHD
* Speech and language difficulties
* Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
* Help implement personalised learning plans
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external professionals
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (desirable)
* A positive, patient and empathetic nature
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Psychology degree, or equivalent experience) – desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
