My client, an Engineering company based near Dudley is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Planner on a permanent basis.
As the head of the planning tem, you will detail-driven ensuring customer orders are translated into effective build plans across all departments.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain production plans
* Utilize advanced Excel to analyze demand, capacity and performance
* Utilize system(Sage) to plan production works
* Work closely with other areas of the business to maintain proficient planning at all times
* Promote all initiatives to improve production where possible
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong Communication skills
* Excellent IT Skills especially Excel
* Proven ability to train and build high performance teams
* Ideally knowledge of SAGE 200 and Sicon
* Previous knowledge of translating Excel based planning to MRP System
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
The salary on offer will be determined by the suitable candidates experience
