Our Food Sales team currently has an opening for a Technical Sales Manager - Food
This role can be based from anywhere around the London or Lutterworth area
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
To develop and grow new opportunities for our Value-Added Food Ingredients by providing technical and recipe support to our customers, that ultimately results in new sales conversions.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the attainment of the Value-Added Food Ingredients Gross Profit for Margin across Midlands and South-East England
2. To provide technical support to our customer base to develop new opportunities
3. Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge
4. Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities
5. Provide market trends, as well as competitor intel
6. Contribute to industry and company product development to maximise sales opportunities
7. Recording activity through a CRM system
YOUR PROFILE
CAPABILITY PROFILE
Experience:
8. Previous experience in Technical Sales in Food Functional Ingredients
9. A Degree level qualification in Food Technology or Food Science
Knowledge:
10. Technically strong in functional food ingredients
11. Selling principles
12. Recipe formulation experience
