The Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher or Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in food technology across a range of abilities and age groups. Your role will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles.
* Assessing and supporting students in their coursework and practical projects.
* Promoting food safety and healthy eating practices.
* Encouraging students' creativity and innovation in food preparation and design.
* Providing a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
* Collaborating with colleagues to plan, develop, and improve the Food Technology curriculum.
About You:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to supporting students in their learning journey. You should have:
* Relevant experience in Food Technology or a related field (such as culinary arts, nutrition, or food science).
* A strong understanding of food technology and the ability to engage students through practical and theoretical lessons.
* Experience working with young people, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working as part of a team.
