Overview
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Support Workers to join our team, providing essential care and support to clients across the Doncaster borough. This role offers flexible part-time hours with a focus on weekend availability and various shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality personal care and specialist end of life support to patients in their homes.
* Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration and prompting.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in patient condition, home environment and risks.
* Support clients to remain as independent as possible whilst receiving personalised care.
* Drive safely and efficiently within Doncaster across the entire borough to meet patient needs effectively.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
* To ensure the provision of care is to the highest of standards.
Shift patterns
* Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (flexible hours)
* Evening shifts: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
* Morning shifts: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
* Night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (overnight care)
* Bank work also available for additional hours
* Commitment to remaining flexible and working a variety of shift patterns to support the needs of the business and patient capacity/needs.
* Candidates can apply for one or more of the above shift options based on availability.
Requirements
* Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and business insurance suitable for care work.
* Ability/willingness to drive throughout the Doncaster borough.
* Experience in care work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or nights as required.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity.
