Workshop Controller

At Steer Automotive Group, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding repairs and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced and organised Workshop Controller to manage workflow, maximise efficiency, and ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
14. Oversee daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification
15. Allocate work to technicians based on skills, workload, and priorities
16. Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, resolving any issues promptly
17. Liaise with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain smooth repair processes
18. Promote a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment
What We’re Looking For:
19. Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar role within the accident repair industry
20. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
21. Solid understanding of repair processes and bodyshop operations
22. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
23. Commitment to integrity, teamwork, and delivering high-quality work
