Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the finance function across a multi-entity SME group.
Partner directly with Directors to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Build and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls.
Oversee day-to-day finance operations including ledgers, payroll oversight, month-end and year-end close, and statutory reporting.
Drive continuous process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Produce monthly management accounts, board packs, KPIs, and performance analysis.
Lead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and financial modelling.
Deliver scenario analysis, profitability reviews, and commercial recommendations.
Manage cash flow, banking, treasury, and working capital.
Oversee VAT, tax compliance, and external audit processes.
About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Experience in an SMEs or multi-entity environments.
Strong technical knowledge with full end-to-end finance ownership.
Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Confident, proactive, and excited by working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting.
