Salary: £35,000 + Service Charge
25 days holidays + bank Holidays
40 hours / week - 5 Days Over 7
Evening Shifts but No Late Finishes!
Our client is opening a stylish new Bar & Restaurant in the heart of London this November, and we’re looking for a vibrant, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our team! With a smart-casual atmosphere and seating for 150, this is the perfect chance to step up and help lead one of this exciting new venues.
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining high standards of service and supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service during the busy evening shifts.
You will assist with staff recruitment & training while helping to foster a motivated and customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the General Manager in the daily running of the bar and restaurant
2. Assist in recruiting, training, and managing the front-of-house team
3. Help oversee the smooth opening and operation of the venue, ensuring top-notch service
4. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain high standards in food, drink, and service quality
5. Handle customer queries and feedback, ensuring a positive guest experience
6. Assist in maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
7. Drive customer satisfaction and foster a welcoming atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
8. Previous experience as an Assistant Manager role within a bar and restaurant setting
9. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume venue is a plus
10. Strong leadership and team-building skills
11. A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding customer experience
12. Highly organized, with excellent communication skills
13. Strong outgoing personality
