Children Registered Manager Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £50 000 £60 000 per year Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including on-call duties Location: Derbyshire Job Scope: Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Children Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential childrens home. The Children Registered Manager will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring the service meets Ofsted standards and all regulatory requirements. The successful Children Registered Manager will oversee staff performance, safeguarding, and care delivery, ensuring each child receives the emotional, physical, and social support they need to thrive. They will create a nurturing and therapeutic environment, lead by example, and embed a culture of respect, trust, and consistency throughout the home. This opportunity suits someone with proven leadership experience in childrens residential care, particularly with children who have learning disabilities, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of young people. The Children Registered Manager will bring strong organisational and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to continuous improvement and team development. Do you have? Ruby Lodge,Derbyshire, BE75 Gem Care Homes - Ruby Lodge The salary for this position is between £50,000 and £60,000, with a potential bonus of up to £2,500 based on KPI targets and Ofsted grading. Hours wise- 9- 5pm monday to friday, with telephone out of hours on a rota system but a degree of flexibility is required to support the service as it is newly operational so will depend on the needs of the service - open to 1 remote day per week ( this is to complete administration/supervisions/compliance areas) Must be a driver Gem care are a progressive company, this is their first home with expansion plans for next year. Ruby Lodge is Learning Disabilities (LD) specific, but are open to candidates with experience in Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Afzal, the Owner is a GP and is very supportive, approachable, and upholds excellent work ethics. The ideal candidate must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and/or a degree in social work or youth work. Open to interviewing strong, qualified LD Deputy Managers who are seeking career progression and demonstrate an aspirational, child-centered approach. Ideally, looking for someone who can start within eight weeks, but understands that a 12-week notice period is common for experienced managers.
