Description
As the Accounts Payable Assistant, your role responsibilities will include:
Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
Handle payment runs, ensuring timely and correct payments to suppliers.
Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Maintain and update accounts payable files and documentation.
Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support the accounting & finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within the retail industry.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Effective communication skills for handling supplier and internal queries.Job Offer
