About the Role
As a locum Consultant in General Anaesthetics, you’ll deliver safe and effective anaesthesia across a range of surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
* Provide general anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures.
* Conduct pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative care.
* Support junior anaesthetists and theatre staff.
* Participate in audits and clinical governance.
Essential – What We’re Looking For
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* FRCA or equivalent.
* Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
* UK Right to Work.
* Strong communication and team‑working skills.
Desirable
* CCT in Anaesthetics (or within 6 months of achieving it).
