We are looking to an Engineering Estimator for a permanent based with our client on Sheffield.
Immediate start available (subject to interview)
Salary is £50,000 per annum (depending to experience)
Key Responsibilities
Develop estimates at all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility and concept through to detailed design
Lead on the development of estimating strategies and present to senior stakeholders both internal and external.
Preparation of the detailed scope/drawings from drawings and specifications
Prepare material/sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing
Focus on value-engineering throughout the bid stage design process
Contribute to the identification of risk and pricing of risks throughout bids
Attend client meetings throughout the tender process where appropriate
Work on tenders from first principles
Present tenders at bid team meetings/client presentations
About you:
Solid background as an estimator within the civil engineering industry
Experience pricing tenders from first principlesIn the first instance, send CV's to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.
