GSL Education are looking for a creative and practical Design Technology (DT) Teacher to support students across schools in Sheffield (S35). This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and inspires students to develop problem-solving, design, and practical skills. What to Expect in This Design Technology Teacher Role: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across a range of year groups. Plan and prepare practical and theory-based lessons that encourage creativity and innovation. Support students in developing skills in design, manufacturing, and evaluation. Maintain a safe, organised, and well-managed workshop or classroom environment. Assess student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement. Requirements for The DT Teacher Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS ) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching Design Technology is desirable. Strong classroom and workshop management skills. Ability to inspire creativity and independent thinking. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
