Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part Time, Temporary)

£239.40 - £253.75 – based on 17.5 hours per week on an hourly basis.

The School and Role
We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly, organised primary school in Northumberland, Morpeth. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will be supporting in Reception, delivering tailored one to one support to a child who requires consistent and affective care. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 12.00pm. This school believes in an embedded creative curriculum in all areas of learning. The school is open to unqualified Teaching Assistants applying if they have experience of supporting children one to one and working with pupils with SEND. Ideally with experience within the EYFS but not necessary.
Requirements
The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND and offering one to one support
3. Ideally will hold a relevant EYFS/ TA qualification
4. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
5. An ability to work as part of a team
