SEND Teaching Assistant – Stoke-on-Trent Start Date: November 2025 Pay: £444–£455 per week Contract: Full-time, long-term ABC Teachers are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established SEND school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in November 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. About the Role: Support students 1:1 and in small groups with a range of moderate to complex needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges. Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs. Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and classroom organisation. Help students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits. About You: ✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and student needs. Experience supporting children with SEND and managing behaviour effectively. Able to provide suitable references and hold (or be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS check.
