Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Friesland School for a Teacher of PE to join a faculty of supportive like-minded teachers who share the same vision to inspire our students to unlock their full potential. Within this role you will be expected to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and be responsible for consistently delivering engaging lessons to our students to encourage them to work to the best of their abilities. Due to the changing room facility requirements we are only able to accept applications from female candidates.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a real passion for their subject. This post would be ideal for an individual who likes a challenge and is committed to students\' learning. We are looking for someone who is patient and caring, with the students\' quality of learning and excellent progression at the centre of their work. This opportunity would equally suit an ambitious ECT or an experienced teacher. To fulfill the full time teaching contract you will be required to teach in other subject areas within the school, in addition to PE. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced level DBS disclosure with a children\'s barred list check, two satisfactory references and successful completion of vetting procedures.

Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging PE lessons with excellent subject knowledge and high expectations for student progress.
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils and contribute to cross-curricular learning when required.
* Support and monitor student progress and behaviour in line with school policies.
* Contribute to the wider school life and extra-curricular provision.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate with a real passion for PE.
* Suitable for an ambitious ECT or an experienced teacher.
* Willing to teach in other subject areas within the school to fulfil the full-time contract.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
