Job Title: Estates & Facilities Contracts Manager \n Location: Musselburgh, Edinburgh. \n Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per year (DOE).\n\nWorking Hours: Full-time | Hybrid/On-site\n\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estates & Facilities Contracts Manager to oversee contract development, ensure regulatory compliance, and support risk management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal terminology, contractual obligations, and compliance frameworks.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDraft, review, and manage contracts and agreements\nEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards\nMonitor contract performance and manage renewals\nCollaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate risk\nMaintain accurate records and contract databases.\nCollaborate proactively with maintenance service providers, project managers, and other University managers to ensure adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act and the University's Health & Safety policies and procedures.\nEnsure Planned Preventive Maintenance tasks (PPMs) are conducted according to manufacturer guidelines and standard maintenance specifications (SFG20).\nSupport the Head of Estates & Engineering in developing an effective maintenance strategy.\nManage, coach, develop, and organise the Grounds Team.Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience in the same.\nSignificant, relevant experience in managing Hard Facilities Management (HFM) Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) operations in large public and commercial buildings.\nStrong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements\nExcellent attention to detail and analytical skills\nStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesWhat We Offer:\n\nA supportive and collaborative work environment\nOpportunities for professional developmentIf you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for upholding high standards, we encourage you to apply with your updated CV.\n\nResourcing Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
