A highly regarded independent advisory firm is expanding its Aerospace & Defence team in London, seeking a Vice President (VP 1 or 2) to help drive cross-border M&A mandates for corporate and financial sponsor clients worldwide.
This is a role for a commercially minded banker who enjoys being close to clients, shaping strategy, and leading from the front. You'll take full ownership of execution workstreams, mentor junior talent, and partner directly with senior leadership on origination, valuations and live deal delivery.
What you'll be doing
* Leading buy-side and sell-side processes across international A&D markets
* Running financial analysis and valuation models that form the backbone of board-level decisions
* Managing due diligence, deal documentation and client communications end-to-end
* Coaching and developing Associates and Analysts within a tight-knit, high-performing team
* Supporting origination efforts and contributing to strategic growth in this high-demand sector
Who we're looking for
* 5–7 years' experience in M&A (banking, boutique advisory, or private equity)
* Strong deal exposure and a hands-on approach to execution
* Confidence managing clients and multiple workstreams under pressure
* Excellent technical modelling and communication skills
* A genuine interest in the Aerospace & Defence industry and global transaction dynamics
