An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Children’s Nurse to join our dynamic Children and Families Health Team based in Mid Argyll. The post is 18.75 hours. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is flexible, hardworking and professional.
Candidates for this post must hold a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse / Child Branch qualification and have significant post registration experience. Previous community experience desirable.
The post holder will be expected to act as an autonomous practitioner in delivering and facilitating high quality nursing care to children and young people with acute / chronic / complex health needs in the community. In addition you will act as key worker for children and young people identified through the Public Health Nursing Service and Child Health or as a Lead Professional through interagency joint child planning.
You must be able to prioritise workload and work unsupervised using your own initiative. A knowledge of the principles of Getting it Right for Every Child is desirable.
