What The Role Will Involve As a Warehouse Operative you will have a number of key duties including picking, packing, replenishment, and stock counting. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently, taking pride in your work, with a willingness to assist other members of the team. Your duties will include: Daily picking and packing of customer orders Working to targets to pack products quickly and efficiently Dispatching larger items by courier using online courier booking systems Daily re-stocking/replenishment of stock in the warehouse Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations Updating stock locations on the internal database Stock counting Monitoring low stock levels and relaying information to the purchasing department Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly Checking for damaged or faulty products Identifying and reporting incorrect and faulty products Ensuring the warehouse is tidy, organised, and safe at all times Further ad hoc responsibilities. The ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences: Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently Great eye for detail and accuracy Ability to work at speed Pride in keeping areas tidy and organised Ability to work well within a team Ability to work independently and use your own initiative Excellent communication skills Fluent in English The working hours of this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm (37.5 paid working hours per week). In return you will receive a salary of £27,007.50 per annum (£13.85 per hour).
